The thing that always struck me with Diabolik was his love and devotion for his lover, Eva. It was almost subversive for the time. During the era of Free Love, the Sexual Revolution, and romanticizing the womanizing of characters like James Bond here was a character whose monogamous relationship was monolithic and unmoving. It's always great to see more of Diabolik. It's particularly cool to see other Italian artists do their own renditions of him. And I love that the running theme throughout is his connection to Eva.
